- I am a home-birthing, babywearing, co-sleeping, vaccination-delaying, cloth-diapering, non-circumcising, tv-eschewing, organic-eating, right-leaning, tandem-nursing, extended breastfeeding, music-loving, book-devouring, stay-at-home wife/mamma and follower of Christ. After five years of primary infertility, we were blessed with four children in five years: Mercy Eliana (In mercy God has answered me), Judah Raphael (Praise, for God is my Healer), Zion Joel (Joel 2:25 "And I will restore unto you the years that the locust hath eaten") and Shiloh Enoch, born on Mercy's 5th birthday. Our story does not read the way we would have written it, but clearly, God's thoughts were better than our thoughts and His ways were better than our ways (Isaiah 55:8). The story He wrote in its place was far better than we could have imagined. My blog follows that story as God wrote it, and as it continues to unfold.
I think anyone would be able to pick out Zion and Mercy as siblings, especially when comparing him with her younger photos!
ReplyDeleteExcept Zion has the hair. Why do the boys get the gorgeous, thick, curls? Poor Mercy has stringy straggles. But yes, they look a lot alike. I guess I subconsciously thought since he was a boy he would look like Judah, but besides the largeness they have in common, they really don't look anything alike. Zion and Mercy even have identical coloring.
